Product review
What’s included: one 16 fluid ounce spray bottle of Premo Guard Natural Mite Spray intended for household and agricultural use.
Formula and materials: a plant-based, non-toxic formulation designed to provide an alternative to harsher chemical treatments. The label indicates ingredients derived from botanical sources meant to be gentle when applied as directed.
Size and origin: packaged as a 16 fl oz value-size spray and manufactured in the United States under standard production controls.
How it’s used: apply by spraying affected surfaces where mites are present — mattresses, upholstery, carpets, pet bedding, coops, cages, pens, and hard or vinyl floors. The product is intended to kill mites on contact across life stages, including eggs and nymphs, when applications are done consistently.
Safety and surface care: formulated to be mild enough for use in areas accessible to children, pets, and livestock when directions are followed. It is promoted as non-staining and largely odor-free so it can be used on fabrics such as pillows, couches, and mattresses. For hard floors or areas that become slippery when wet, follow label guidance for drying and cleaning as needed.
Uses and frequency: recommended for repeated applications over several days for best results. It’s presented as a versatile control option for dust mites, spider/carpet mites, bird/poultry mites, and related species when integrated into a regular treatment routine.

VerdictA plant-derived, contact-action spray packaged in a 16 oz trigger bottle that targets dust, bird, carpet and poultry mites. It’s marketed as safe around people and animals when used as directed and is non-staining and scent-free. Many users report relief when treatments are repeated for several days, though some found it less effective and experienced irritation while applying. Good option for tho

Good for carpet mites
Did a solid job after repeating treatments for two to three days. Dries quickly, minimal smell, and left no residue. Cleared up the carpet mites where I used it.

Finally got some sleep
I sprayed thoroughly and after it dried the crawling and biting stopped — I actually slept. Didn’t need to vacuum afterward. I’ll order a bigger bottle now that it worked for me.

Works, though a bit expensive
It performs well for killing mites, but the cost is a downside.

Not effective in our case
We followed directions and kept reapplying, but mites persisted. I appreciate the natural formula and easy use, yet it did not resolve our infestation and we had to pursue other treatments.

Did not eliminate the infestation
This did not kill the mites as promised; they returned and seemed more numerous after treatment.

Works well with daily treatments
It handled my mites when I treated affected areas every day for about five days. I sprayed carpets and vinyl; be aware it can leave slippery residue on hard floors so they need washing later. Remove it from your feet before showering and wait until it dries — it made me a bit congested in a closed room. Pleasant scent overall.

Far better than my previous spray
I struggled with bird mites and fleas and tried another brand first. This product, especially combined with laundering bedding, worked noticeably better. I spray my shoes, the mat, and floors when I come in and it’s made a big difference. My pets are on their meds and this helps keep the problem down. Very relieved to finally see results.

I found a cheaper solution that worked better
After following all the recommended protocols and still getting bitten, I made my own spray with clove, tea tree and eucalyptus that gave immediate relief and cost far less. I tried doubling up with this product when it arrived and didn’t get the same quick results.
