Product review
This product is supplied as a single reel containing 328 feet (100 meters) of green twist tie wire. The core is steel wire wrapped in a thin green plastic coating, wound neatly on a portable spool for easy dispensing.
The plastic shell that holds the reel includes a small metal cutter built into the housing so you can trim ties to the length you need without scissors. The case is light and hollowed out to carry the reel and to let you pull and cut ties quickly on the job.
Designed for repeated use, these ties bend to hold stems and can be rewrapped or removed and reused as plants grow. The coating protects against direct contact with the wire and helps reduce abrasion on plant stems compared with bare wire.
In the garden you can use the ties to train tomato vines, support climbing plants, secure stems to stakes, tidy up shrubs, shape small bonsai branches, or build simple trellises for vines and flowers. The flexibility makes them useful for preventing fruit from drooping and for general plant training.
Around the house the reel works for bundling cords and cables, closing food bags, hanging lightweight feeders, or organizing odds and ends in a workshop or office. Because the ties are long and easy to cut to size, they are convenient for many small tasks.
If you have questions about the product or how to use it, contact the seller for assistance — they should be able to answer sizing, material, and reuse queries.
Pros
- Generous 100 m spool
- Integrated metal cutter in the housing
- Reusable plastic-coated steel wire
Cons
- Wire is quite thin
- Not wide for delicate stems
- Lightweight housing
VerdictPlenty of length and a handy built-in cutter make this reel very useful around the garden and home. The plastic-coated steel wire is flexible and reusable, though the strand is quite thin so avoid using it on heavy branches or very tender new shoots.

Handy with built-in cutter
Very convenient spool and cutting feature. Just note the wire itself is very thin.

Material is slim
Ties are quite narrow and barely thicker than the wire inside. They do the job, but I’ll choose a wider option next time.

Okay, could be thicker
Fine for light jobs, but I would prefer a slightly heavier gauge for sturdier stems.

Very convenient
Fast to use and makes tying tasks quicker. A useful item to keep in the shed.

Thin but useful
The little cutter on the spool works fine. The wire is very thin and the coating light, so be careful with delicate new shoots, but there’s a lot of length on the reel.

Surprisingly handy for tomato plants
I bought these when my tomato seedlings took off. The ties kept stems upright as plants grew and were easy to adjust. The spool format meant I always had more on hand when needed.
