Huge capacity — great for high-volume scooping
I bought this to move charcoal and pellets for my grills. The 85 oz size reaches deep into sacks and moves a lot in one go. It’s clearly built for heavy use rather than casual backyard grilling, but it’s well made, surprisingly light, and saves time by doing in one scoop what smaller ones need two or three for.

Exactly as roomy as it looks

Comically large but extremely practical
I had smaller antique scoops that were too tiny for gardening. This 85-oz model lets me fill bags of perlite and compost easily. It’s light and the edge balance is safe, though the handle can leave aluminum residue with heavy use—gloves help. That minor issue won’t make me return it.
