Verify voltage before use
Check the voltage rating for your region; the unit I received was set for 110V without clear labeling. When I switched it on it overheated and emitted smoke, which is potentially hazardous for a countertop display.

Handy for holiday meals
Was a huge help at our Thanksgiving. I could keep multiple pans warm while finishing cleanup, so no frantic reheating later. It heats evenly and is easy to operate. My only gripe is I’d prefer an option to leave it running until I manually switch it off rather than using the timer.
