Patented wireless transmission and accuracy
This floating thermometer uses proprietary wireless technology to push measurements to the indoor base every 60 seconds across a roughly 230 ft radius. Reported temperature accuracy is ±0.5°F and humidity accuracy ±2%. The sensor and base cover a wide range: indoor operation down to +14.2°F up to +122°F, with the sensor itself capable from -40°F to +158°F, so it works for most pools, hot tubs and cold plunges.
IPX8 waterproofing and sealed construction
The floater is engineered with an integrated sealing ring and a waterproof compartment design that provides double-layer protection against leaks. That IPX8 rating means it’s intended to stay submerged without water ingress when used as directed.
Durable, inert materials for multiple settings
The housing is made from UV-resistant, corrosion-resistant material that resists degradation in sun and chlorinated or salt water and is described as rustproof to avoid affecting water quality. It’s suitable for many environments: swimming pools, ice baths, cold plunges, hot tubs, baby tubs, hot springs, saunas, aquariums and ponds.
Large indoor display and illumination
The remote base features a 4.5" LCD readout with a backlight that stays on for roughly 10 seconds after tapping the button, making it easy to check readings in low light. It records 24-hour high and low temperatures and shows three water-comfort icons to quickly indicate whether conditions are cool, comfortable, or warm.
Dual-facing sensor and temperature units
The floater presents temperature on both sides so readings are visible from the pool or from the poolside. Switching between Celsius and Fahrenheit is straightforward on the display. Typical use: place the floating sensor in the water and keep the indoor display where you want to monitor conditions remotely. The package includes the floating temperature sensor and the indoor display unit with the large LCD panel.

Clear display, easy to read
I really like the large vertical readout — you don’t need to be right next to the floater to see the numbers. The remote display updates without needing line-of-sight, and customer support answered my questions quickly. At first it showed air temp until the sensor settled in the water, and the historical log seemed a little off, but overall the display is very convenient.

Excellent utility
Performs well in the pool and inside the house. Good value for a wireless floater with an indoor monitor.

Safety concern when readings lag
I’m returning mine. The unit feels solid and didn’t leak, but it needs five AAA batteries and the sensor read noticeably higher than expected. The indoor display sometimes freezes on an old reading for about 10 minutes, which could be dangerous if you rely on it for hot water safety.

Great for ice baths
Works well for my ice bath — I can watch TV upstairs while the monitor updates. It took about 40 minutes for the water to reach the lower temp and readings matched my expectations.
