Product review
Sharp designs this oven around practical, professional needs. The package includes the microwave oven itself with a removable ceramic bottom plate and removable vent covers for straightforward maintenance. The exterior is wrapped in stainless steel and the cooking cavity is stainless steel as well, delivering a commercial appearance and surfaces that wipe clean easily.
The internal cavity is 1.0 cubic foot and will accept a 13-1/2" platter, prepackaged meals, single servings, or a half-size pan in either orientation. Power is 1000 watts at 120 volts, providing quick, even heating. Control is accomplished with a classic dial timer that ranges from 10 seconds up to 6 minutes; bright LED indicators illuminate the selected time and blink as the countdown proceeds for at-a-glance status.
A safety-minded auto-cancel feature clears the remaining time whenever the door is opened, which conserves energy and reduces unnecessary magnetron wear. Above the timer there is a printed heating time guide with recommended durations for common foods, intended as a quick reference to speed routine food prep and reheating.
Pros
- Durable stainless-steel interior and exterior
- Straightforward dial control with bright LED indicators
- 1.0 cu. ft. cavity fits a 13.5" platter
Cons
- No rotating turntable
- No preset programs or variable power levels
- Timer limited to 6 minutes per cycle
VerdictThis unit is built for straightforward, heavy use: a 1.0 cu. ft. cavity that holds a 13.5" platter, a smooth mechanical timer, and stainless interiors for easy cleanup. It removes complex presets and rotating trays in favor of direct control and reliable, even heating—ideal for commercial kitchens or anyone who wants a no-nonsense microwave.

No turntable, straightforward and reliable
Exactly what I wanted: a simple dial that turns easily, clear LEDs that show the selection and count down, and the timer resets when the door opens. Single polite beep when finished. The removable ceramic bottom is effortless to clean and vents have covers for easy maintenance.

Solid build and direct control — no gimmicks
Well made and basic — a single dial for full-power cooking. I prefer setting time myself instead of relying on mysterious presets. For longer tasks I just run several cycles; total control beats canned programs for me.

Approaches restaurant-grade performance
Very close to the microwaves used in foodservice — simple operation, sturdy construction, and reliable heating. No clock to fuss with after power loss, and the dial starts cooking immediately.

Heavy-duty feel with very smooth operation
Feels industrial and runs smoothly. No rotating platter makes the interior simpler to clean. Controls are minimal and intuitive, which keeps daily use quick and hassle-free.

Very easy for an elderly user to operate
My 94-year-old father finds it much simpler than conventional microwaves with many buttons. It’s commercial-grade construction and effective operation are real advantages; the only downside is it’s relatively costly for home use.

Unexpected favorite in a high-end kitchen
Although it looks utilitarian, it performs superbly. We keep it tucked away and appreciate the ease of cleaning and the solid construction. The stationary interior is practical and durable.

Quality seems to justify the purchase
It costs more than basic home models, but the construction feels premium. Whether it’s right for you depends on your needs — for me the quality is worth it.

Excellent unit, but customs and import fees were a headache
The microwave arrived in perfect condition and heats quickly. Shipping was delayed by customs and I was later charged unexpected import fees on delivery, which increased the final overall expense considerably.

Simple and robust — exactly what we wanted
We had frequent failures with other microwaves and rarely used extra functions. This model is straightforward, solidly built, and heats more reliably than previous units. Hoping it lasts for many years.

Even cooking despite no power-level selection
Heating is impressively uniform without a low-power defrost setting. Foods thaw and warm with fewer hotspots or splatters. The dial is fast to operate and the oven won’t restart if you close the door after removing food.

Good performance but durability issues after 2.5 years
Worked great at first — even heating and dependable — but after about two and a half years the timer lights stopped working and it began requiring an extra door cycle to start. Stopped operating after that period.
