Product review
Heavy-duty capacity: This plate-style ramp is made from high-strength aluminum and is rated to carry loads up to 1,500 pounds, suitable for ATVs, UTVs and similar equipment.
Compact tri-fold design: The ramp folds into three sections horizontally, reducing its footprint to about one-third of its open length so it can be stored in a pickup bed, trailer, or garage more easily.
Traction surface: The top is punched with a plate pattern to improve grip during loading and unloading. While the perforated surface helps traction, extra caution is advised in slick or wet conditions.
Compatibility and dimensions: It accommodates loading heights up to 35 inches and requires a minimum truck bed length of roughly 7 feet to set up correctly. The assembled ramp weighs about 60 pounds and may need a second person to lift or maneuver safely.
Durability and construction: Made from rustproof aluminum with fully welded joints, the ramp is built for outdoor use and to resist weather exposure. It ships with attachment hardware so the ramp can be secured to your vehicle or trailer during use.
Pros
- 1,500 lb rated capacity
- Tri-folds to about one-third size for storage
- Rustproof, fully welded aluminum construction
Cons
- Approximately 60 lbs — may need two people to move
- Can be slick in damp conditions
- Retention straps are narrow
VerdictA robust, wide ramp that handles large machines and collapses for compact storage. It offers reliable traction from its punched plate finish and a corrosion-resistant welded aluminum frame. Expect a 60 lb unit that may require two people to move and take care on wet surfaces, but overall it delivers dependable performance for regular loading tasks.

Sturdy; watch footwear in wet conditions
Loaded my ATV into the pickup bed with no structural concerns. The straps are narrow but only meant to hold it closed. I slipped once while it was damp wearing smooth leather soles—rubber soles would be safer.

Perfect for mowing equipment
Ideal for getting my mower into a dump trailer. The anti-slip plate helps the mower climb without slipping and they store easily when not in use.

Lightweight and strong, but slippery
Works great on my 23 ft box truck and feels solid, but the surface can be slick during loading. We applied grip tape on the steps as a temporary fix.

Heavy-duty for warehouse work
We use it in our warehouse to move pallets off the dock. It’s held up under frequent, rough use — will buy another if this one wears out.

Solid and straightforward — use gloves
Quick to open and set up with no instructions needed. Fits well in my truck bed and the attachment hooks feel secure. It’s heavy but manageable to slide into place. Heads-up: the edges can abrade bare hands, so wear gloves.
