Product review
THICK, SPOONABLE MANGO CHAMOY: This is a mango-flavored chamoy paste with body — thick enough to remain on a glass or can rather than running straight down. Expect ripe mango sweetness first, followed by tang and a light chile heat. To rim a glass, wet the rim, dip or spread a spoonful, twist once, then lift.
READY TO SERVE RIGHT AWAY: Give the tub a brief stir and it smooths out for even application. No additional mixing or measuring required — serve at room temperature and apply directly.
COVERS ABOUT 20 RIMS PER TUB: An 8 oz container will coat approximately twenty glass rims depending on how heavy you layer it, so a small gathering takes only a few spoonfuls.
USE IDEAS: Besides rimming beer and micheladas, it’s great on margaritas, palomas, hard seltzers, cocktails and mocktails. Spoon it over mango sorbet or shaved ice to make a mangonada in minutes, or use as a dip for fresh mango, cucumber, jicama, pineapple and green apple.
PRODUCT ORIGIN AND INGREDIENTS: Made in Mexico. Ingredients include sugar, water, a chile blend of ground chile, salt, citric acid and dehydrated lemon, plus modified food starch and xanthan gum to provide thickness. Vegan, contains no MSG. Sold in an 8 oz tub. Also available in Original and Watermelon flavors.
Pros
- Spoonable, clingy texture
- Authentic mango-chile flavor
- Ready-to-use with no prep
Cons
- Only an 8 oz tub — limited quantity
- Viscosity can vary between jars
- Can be messy if over-applied
VerdictA dense, spoonable mango-chamoy designed to coat glass rims reliably and add sweet, tangy, mildly spicy flavor to drinks and fruit. The 8 oz tub spreads smoothly after a quick stir and should rim roughly twenty glasses. It’s versatile — great on beer, cocktails, palomas, seltzers, micheladas, or as a topping for mangonadas and fruit cups. Made in Mexico with familiar pantry ingredients and thicken

Tasty but small jar
Flavor is sweet, tangy and mildly spicy, and the consistency makes rimming easy. My complaint is the small 8 oz container — it feels like a limited amount for anyone who entertains often. Good product, but the quantity may not meet heavy use.

Perfect for beer
Really enhances beer — a fruity, tangy rim that pairs nicely with light lagers and micheladas.

Great with seltzers
Gives hard seltzers a zesty mango-chile finish — works well with popular canned seltzer brands.

Inconsistent thickness
A previous jar was perfectly thick and lasted through the drink, but this batch arrived thin and almost runny — barely clings to the can.

Party hit every time
Guests love it when I rim glasses with this. I bought the mango variety and its flavor lifts every drink. I’m already close to empty, so I’ll try other flavors soon — confident they’ll be enjoyable. Highly recommended for people who like to host.
