Product review
Each pack contains 1000 micro glass capillary tubes, manufactured from clear glass and intended for single-use or light-duty repeated tasks. Individual tubes measure 100 mm in length with an inner diameter of 0.3 mm and an outer diameter of 0.5 mm. The diameter tolerance is ±0.1 mm to reflect small manufacturing variance.
These capillaries are primarily used to sample or transfer minute volumes from reaction vessels, to spot samples on thin-layer chromatography plates, or to deposit tiny amounts of liquid in hard-to-reach areas. Their narrow bore draws fluid by capillary action, making them useful for applications that require controlled, minute transfers.
Because they are made of glass and have very fine walls, the tubes are fragile and can fracture if handled roughly, dropped, or subjected to lateral stress. Treat them gently during use, store them in a protective tube or container, and dispose of broken pieces safely.
If any items arrive damaged in transit, please contact us so the issue can be resolved promptly; replacement or assistance will be provided as appropriate.
Pros
- High quantity suitable for frequent use
- Accurate small-bore dimensions
- Useful for lab and craft precision work
Cons
- Fragile due to thin glass construction
- Not reusable for all applications
- Requires careful handling and storage
VerdictA large-count supply of 100 mm glass capillaries that deliver accurate tiny-volume transfers for lab tasks, chromatography spotting, and delicate craft work. They offer consistent dimensions and a convenient quantity for repeated use, but their thin glass construction makes them breakable; careful handling and proper storage are required.

Jay Barron 5/5
Thin, versatile glass capillaries
Very fine glass tubes that draw tiny droplets by capillary action. I use them for small lab samples and for model work where precise solvent placement is needed. Fragile, but treated as disposable in many settings; long-lasting in my experience.

Very thin but functional
Extremely thin and a little flexible. Packaged well with no breakage; they store compactly.

Dr. D. 5/5
Great for miniature work
Ideal for applying tiny amounts of glue in my studio. They break if mishandled, but used carefully they do exactly what's needed.
-

Does the job as shown
They function as expected and match the photos. Quality is average; a bit pricier than bulk alternatives but fine for a home lab or small practice.
