Product review
All-in-one tuner and metronome unit: the device combines a chromatic tuner (with an 8-octave tone generator) and a pendulum-style metronome in a single handheld housing.
Instrument modes and range: dedicated settings support standard guitar and bass tuning, violin and a combined cello/viola mode so you can tune a variety of stringed instruments accurately across a wide pitch span.
Metronome features: the metronome emulates a pendulum and covers a broad tempo band from 30 to 230 beats per minute with selectable beat patterns to practice rhythms and time signatures.
Connections and use: the front and side panel include a 1/4" instrument input for direct pickup connection and a 3.5mm headphone output for silent practice; controls let you pick tuning mode, reference pitch and metronome tempo.
Display and portability: a large 2 1/4-inch high-visibility LCD shows note candidates, a needle-style tuning indicator, tempo, and beat; the lightweight molded plastic body is designed for tabletop or portable use and powered for practice on the go.
Pros
- Combines chromatic tuner and pendulum metronome
- Large, easy-to-read 2 1/4" LCD
- Instrument-specific tuning modes and wide pitch range
Cons
- Slower response on very low strings
- Not ideal for real-time intonation training while playing
- Plastic housing feels basic
VerdictA compact, function-rich tuner and metronome that covers guitars, bass, violin and similar instruments. The chromatic tuner offers wide-range pitch detection and an 8-octave reference tone generator while the simulated pendulum metronome handles 30–230 BPM. Clear LCD and jack connectivity make it handy for plugged practice and quiet sessions. Occasional sluggish response on very low notes and limi

Reliable, accurate, good features
Small but capable — it has many functions and performs dependably. The display is easy to read and I’d suggest it to fellow players.

Good
I expected it to be larger, yet it still performs well for tuning and timing despite the compact size.

It works.
Bought to tune my violin; I’m still learning the instrument but this makes getting in tune straightforward.

The tell tale heart
If you’re staging a spooky prank with a fake heartbeat, this metronome offers several pulse sounds and will do the trick — multiple beat options are included.

Four Stars
Performs nicely overall, though it doesn’t reach the very highest reeds on the middle block of my accordion.

Lots of features but slow and buggy
The tuner and built-in metronome do their jobs and the feature set is useful. On my violin the low G can register oddly at first, showing a different pitch until the needle and lights settle. That quirk doesn’t prevent basic tuning, but the unit’s response isn’t fast enough for in-play intonation work.
