Product review
This EASTROCK clarinet is pitched in Bb and configured with 17 keys and a 6-ring layout, suitable for standard beginner and student repertoire.
The body is molded from ABS material with a matte surface treatment for improved durability, elastic response and reliable air seal. Keywork is silver-plated, designed to be smooth to the touch and resistant to wear.
Springs use a high-carbon "memory" needle design for fast action, consistent elasticity and resistance to deformation. This aids responsiveness and clearer articulation for developing players.
Included with the instrument are basic setup tools and two replaceable barrels to let students experiment with slight tonal and tuning differences. The clarinet is intended for learning environments where ease of playability and toughness are priorities.
Pros
- Durable ABS body with matte finish
- 17-key, 6-ring silver-plated keys
- Includes tools and two interchangeable barrels
Cons
- Not targeted at advanced players

- Tone and intonation limited vs wooden models
VerdictSolid entry-level clarinet offering durable ABS construction, silver-plated 17-key mechanics and quick-response high-carbon memory springs. It comes with a couple of barrels and basic setup tools, making it a practical choice for new players who need an affordable, playable instrument that produces a strong, clear tone and holds up to student use.

Great value — our daughter has used it for over a year
The school's supplier discouraged this model, but our daughter has been using it regularly for more than a year with no problems. It performs reliably and saved us money compared with rental options.

Tight fit when assembling — needs some patience
I haven't played it yet; initial assembly was tight and tricky to align. I'll need to spend time adjusting the joints before testing the sound.

Good starter instrument for middle school
This is not intended for advanced high-school ensembles, but it's ideal for middle-school beginners. It arrived with the essentials to start playing and avoided rental fees—paid for itself quickly.
