The Phantom 3 Slope is a handheld golf GPS device built around a 3.9-inch touchscreen meant for quick, glanceable information during a round. The housing is a durable polymer with a glass touchscreen and tactile side controls for alternate operation. The interface is designed to reduce menu diving: it supports automatic course and hole recognition, auto hole advance and prompts that simplify scorekeeping.
Distance outputs include large, easy-to-read front, center and back yardages, plus slope-adjusted numbers you can enable or disable depending on local rules. The GreenView map shows the green’s outline and allows you to move the virtual pin to get a more exact flag distance. More than 38,000 courses come preloaded, and the device accepts over-the-air course updates to keep layouts current.
Power comes from a rechargeable internal cell rated for about 18 hours of operation — typically enough for four rounds before recharging. The unit ships with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable for replenishing the battery. For on-course carry and mounting, the package includes a BITE-style magnetic mount that secures the unit to a cart frame or other metal surface, a belt clip, and a carabiner for attachment to bags. A small cleaning cloth is included for the screen and lens care.

Compact, readable, and convenient
Small enough for a pocket and easy to read. The magnetic back holds to the cart securely and a single charge lasts multiple rounds. Having reliable distances visible during play has simplified club selection for me.

Valuable addition to my golf gear
Many courses don’t provide yardage screens on carts, so this unit fills that gap with continual distance updates as you move around the course. The magnet keeps it visible on the cart frame and the battery easily handles several rounds before needing a charge.

Sticks well to the cart, room for small tweaks
The magnet holds the device to the cart window frame without issue. My only wish is for faster scrolling between holes on courses with more than 18 holes. I bought one for a friend and they agree with the performance and the few minor improvements suggested.

Easy to operate, has improved my course decisions
I used a slope-capable laser last season and found myself fixating on one number. Switching to this GPS has made me consider target selection more and plan for uphill/downhill play. The device does offer slope-adjusted distances if you want them, but I usually leave that off and think in carry and landing spots—it's helped my decision-making on approach shots.
