Product review
What you get: a pack of 20 universal brass shaft adapter shims. The quantity is intended to cover multiple repairs or rebuilds and gives you spares for future tweaking or to share with playing partners.
Size and shape: each shim measures roughly 1 inch tall and is cut to fit common shaft diameters: .335, .350, .355 and .370. The six-tab (six-leg) gasket layout is meant to center the shaft in the hosel and reduce unwanted movement for more consistent alignment.
Material and durability: these shims are stamped from brass, chosen for its strength and wear resistance. The metal holds up under epoxy and provides a robust intermediary layer between shaft and head.
How they’re used: the six legs can be bent slightly to change how the shaft sits in the head, allowing small adjustments to lie or loft before the final glue-up. They are lightweight and compact, so they’re easy to carry in a toolbox or golf bag and swap in and out during fitting sessions.
Gift idea: the kit makes a handy present for avid golfers or clubmakers who tinker with setups. It’s useful for improving club feel and consistency when experimenting with different shaft-head combinations.
Pros
- Compatible with .335–.370 shaft sizes
- Durable brass construction
- Twenty shims in a compact kit
Cons
- May require trimming on some installations
- Can be difficult to seat when moving .355 into .370
- Universal form may not match size-specific shims
VerdictA practical, low-cost kit for golfers and club builders who need to adapt smaller shafts into larger hosels. The brass construction is durable and the six-leg design helps stabilize the shaft, though some setups require trimming or some effort to install. Good for occasional repairs, experimentation, or keeping extra shims on hand.

Tight on .355→.370 installs
They do the job, but forcing a .355 shaft into a .370 head with these universal shims was very difficult. I’d choose size-specific shims next time.

Good fit
Works well for gluing a thinner shaft into a larger hosel.

Simple, effective shims — did the job.

Solid, practical set
Typical brass-shim design. They arrived in a small plastic case that’s handy on my bench. Good value for a 20-pack.

Almost perfect fit
I trimmed them to clear a collared ferrule, but otherwise they seated flawlessly in a G425 hosel and kept the head from shifting.

Made .355 shafts work in .370 irons
Used these to adapt .355 shafts to .370 irons. The shims fit but stuck out a bit, so I trimmed them flush before epoxying. Worked well for my set and I’d buy them again for the quantity.
