Product review
Each purchase includes a single JFit Soft Wall Ball in the weight you select. The balls are offered across a range of weights from 4 pounds up to 30 pounds so you can scale intensity to your needs.
The exterior is a heavy-duty vinyl coated shell that’s been laser cut, double-stitched and hand stuffed to create a consistent feel and maintain shape. The seam construction and manual stuffing are intended to deliver balanced weight distribution, and the surface includes a textured, non-slip grip for easier holds during dynamic movements.
These wall balls measure roughly 14 inches in diameter for all weights except the 4 lb model, which is a compact 9 inches. The smaller 4 lb option is aimed at lighter conditioning or rehabilitation work, while larger weights use the full 14" profile to allow traditional wall-ball mechanics.
Designed for functional training rather than repeated slamming on hard surfaces, this ball is best used for wall shots, med-ball throws, squats, thrusters, sit-ups, rotational work and plyometric drills. It also works well as a tool for mobility — using body weight and gravity to roll and stretch tight muscle groups.
Balance tested for even weight distribution, the ball supports core stabilization and endurance training. While rugged for normal throwing and catching, the manufacturer warns against treating it as a slam-specific ball; for frequent ground-impact slams, a purpose-built slam ball is preferable.
Pros
- Durable vinyl shell with reinforced stitching
- Balanced, hand-stuffed fill and non-slip grip
- Multiple weight options for scalable training
Cons
- Not intended for repeated slamming
- 4 lb model has a smaller diameter
- Some units may feel slightly uneven to the touch
VerdictThe JFit Soft Wall Ball delivers dependable durability and a secure grip for a wide range of conditioning and core exercises. Its vinyl-coated shell, double-stitched seams and hand-stuffed interior keep the weight evenly distributed, though the design explicitly isn’t meant for repeated slam-ball use. Choose from several poundages to progress strength and conditioning drills; note the 4 lb version

Easy to grip and handle
Soft enough to pick up and comfortable to hold mid-workout. Stitching looks neat and there are small grip features on the seam that help control the ball.

Perfect for CrossTraining, avoid slamming
Bought for my CrossTraining routine and it’s the right size and very robust. Don’t expect slam-ball longevity if you’re constantly hitting the floor — that’s not its purpose.

Has survived a lot of use
I’ve had the 20 lb for about a year and it’s taken a beating. Soft enough to catch, yet durable enough to handle hard throws; still shows very little wear.
-

Okay but a bit off-center
Works for my drills but the internal fill feels uneven and the surface is a little lumpy compared to other med balls I’ve used.

Great for tossing — not a slam device
Arrived early and felt very solid when we started throwing it. It’s legitimately heavy at 20 lbs, but remember this design is for throws and catches, not repeated floor slams. Material and feel are pro-grade.

Nice addition to our routine
Good size and weight for tosses and partner drills. Simple and effective for general conditioning.

Good longevity with frequent use
(20 lbs) After three months of near-daily wall balls by several people, it’s shown no tears or internal shifting. It’s been dropped plenty and still looks and works great. Ordering more.

Sturdy and versatile for a home gym
I bought the 20 lb for home use and it handles wall shots, thrusters and sit-ups with ease. I also use it for shoulder opening and rehab work. It’s holding up well and still looks like new.

Good quality, feels slightly heavier
This 20 lb felt denser than the ones at my gym, maybe because it’s newer. Packaging was scuffed but the ball itself was unharmed. Solid investment if you want a reliable wall ball.

Holding up so far
So far it hasn’t split and is performing well. Compares favorably to other similar balls I’ve tried.

Solid value though slightly out of round
Picked up the 15 lb and it endures wall-ball reps well. Mine seems a bit squished and hasn’t fully rounded out, but it performs fine and stands up to hard use.
