Composition and finish: The blanket is constructed from 70% wool, 20% polyester and 10% cotton, woven on top of a 100% cotton warp — the lengthwise threads on the loom. After weaving, a small quantity of acrylic is applied to improve colorfastness.
Origin and design: This is an authentic Mexican handwoven blanket featuring diamond and geometric motifs in a southwestern palette. The weave is dense and heavy by design, giving it a thick, tactile feel that reads vintage-cabin and outdoor-ready at once.
Sizes and tolerance: It’s offered in two common sizes: roughly 80" x 50" for the regular and about 98" x 60" for the XL. Because each piece is handmade, expect dimensional variation of approximately +/- 2". Many customers also find it close to standard oversized throws or queen-layer coverage depending on the cut.
Uses: The weight and weave make it versatile — use it as a yoga blanket, a robust throw for the sofa, a southwest wall hanging, a camping or vehicle blanket, or a heavy-duty picnic layer. The substantial heft helps retain warmth and stand up to outdoor use.
Care and extras: Hand wash only; not suitable for machine washing or tumble drying. The blanket ships with a complimentary organic canvas pouch while supplies last.

VerdictThis heavy, handwoven Mexican blanket offers roomy coverage and a classic southwestern look suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It’s warm and durable, with bold diamond and geometric motifs, but expect handmade size variation and hand-

Too expensive for the quality
Feels like a basic Mexican blanket and doesn’t match the tag’s claim of pure wool. The fabric handles like a blend, and the cost doesn’t seem justified for this build.

Ideal for car camping and nostalgic style
Brings back memories of Baja surf blankets. The oversized throw fits perfectly in the back of my Tesla Y for car camping — muted colors and a rugged weave that look ready for outdoor use.
