   Simple to use for a beginner

   I’m new to curling and usually straightened my hair. My medium, slightly coarse, wavy hair is full, and this iron is straightforward for a novice to operate. It heats quickly and produces smooth curls even when I fumble a bit doing it myself.

   Solid performance and real value

   This 2" extended barrel model performs like a salon tool. It creates soft, relaxed waves and adds volume with minimal effort. The large barrel heats evenly and glides through hair, holding curls without leaving strands brittle. The extended length is particularly useful for longer hair. Very pleased with its performance and overall value.

   Great results but watch handling

   Heats up very fast and gives excellent results. It has a rest to protect surfaces, but because the barrel is large and gets hot, it's easy to burn your skin — the handle could be more comfortable.

   Salon-style blowout made simple

   The 2" barrel is perfect for long hair or a long bob to get that slightly bent, blowout look. It heats hotter than my other iron at the same setting and the shape lasts all day without hairspray. I use it several times a week.

   Tames frizz and adds shape

   My hair is fine, frizzy, and shoulder-length. Other irons left dents, but this one grips and rolls cleanly. My hair comes out smoother and shinier with lift that lasts 2–3 days. I went with the 2" barrel and like the grip hole at the end; I also use silicone ear covers to avoid burns.

    Shorter than expected and a bit flimsy

    This isn’t the extended barrel I expected — it’s shorter than other extended models I’ve used. It’s labeled professional, but it feels lighter and less robust than my other professional unit.

    Cord and wand issues on newer model

    I preferred the older version with the twist-knob control. The newer push-button unit has a swivel cord that barely rotates, so it tangles after a few curls and slows me down. The wand also seems to catch the hair a bit more than older models.
