Product review
This repair kit bundles the small hand tools most hobbyists and techs use to disassemble DJI Mini-series drones. It is intended for cosmetic and mechanical repairs rather than heavy-duty metalwork.
Included in the package are: 1 x T5 Torx screwdriver, 1 x T4 Torx screwdriver, 1 x Phillips #1.5 screwdriver, three double-ended spudger pry tools, and two ESD-safe tweezers with blunt tips. The Torx drivers match the common fasteners found on Mini 3, Mini 3 Pro, Mini 4 Pro and Mini 5 Pro airframes. The spudgers serve for lifting clips, separating snap-fit seams and prying ribbon cables, while the tweezers protect sensitive components from static damage during handling.
The tools are compact for precision work and intended to reach the tiny screws and connectors used throughout the aircraft body, motor mounts and gimbal assembly. If your repair requires detaching soldered wires or board connections, you will need separate soldering iron equipment, desoldering braid or a station to handle those operations safely.
Use cases include replacing motor arms or propeller mounts, removing the top cover of the main body, accessing gimbal parts, swapping sensors, replacing hinges and managing flat ribbon cables. The manufacturers recommend careful handling to avoid stripping fasteners; delicate areas benefit from the included ESD-safe tweezers and the smaller Phillips head.
Pros
- Complete set for common Mini-series disassembly tasks
- Includes ESD-safe tweezers for sensitive components
- T5/T4 Torx and Phillips #1.5 cover typical drone screws
Cons
- Driver shafts can be thin and prone to bending
- Colored finish may show wear after repeated use
- Does not include soldering tools for desoldering tasks
VerdictThis set supplies the common hand tools needed to open and service DJI Mini 3/3 Pro, Mini 4 Pro and Mini 5 Pro drones: torx drivers, a Phillips bit, spudgers and ESD tweezers. It covers most mechanical disassembly tasks — body panels, motor arms, gimbal components, hinges and flat cables — but users report the driver shafts are thin and can bend or slip under torque, and the colored tool finish ma

Too thin and slips
The driver is flimsy and slips when tightening Mini 4 Pro props. Doesn't secure the screw head; returning it.
-
Brek 5/5
Functional but fragile
Drivers have spinning caps but bent under strain. Tweezers are decent and the spudgers did their job.
