Product review
Use the pointed tip facing down — this trowel is intended to be pushed into the soil, not pulled upward. Operate it with the sharp end leading to make digging, trenching and removing weeds straightforward and efficient.
These scoops are multi-purpose: they serve as a cultivator, soil scoop, trowel, weeder and bulb digger. The concave blade carries soil like a small shovel, serrated edges help cut through roots and vines, and etched measurement marks on the blade help set consistent planting depths.
Each blade is made from stainless steel for corrosion resistance and long service life. The scoops are shaped to hold a generous volume of dirt while remaining maneuverable for precise work in beds and pots.
Handles feature a soft, non-slip grip to reduce hand soreness during repetitive use. The ergonomic shape helps maintain control in wet or dry conditions and makes the tool comfortable for extended tasks.
This set contains two soil scoops in two different colors plus a single pair of garden gloves to protect hands from dirt and abrasion while planting or weeding. The compact size makes them easy to fit in a garden bucket or tote.
Ideal uses include digging planting holes, transplanting seedlings, loosening compacted soil, extracting bulbs, and small trenching jobs. They are excellent for detailed work where a full-size shovel would be unwieldy.
Pros
- Durable stainless-steel blades
- Serrated edges and depth markings
- Comfortable non-slip handles
Cons
- Can pack soil into the scoop
- Small for large digging jobs
- Gloves included may vary
VerdictA versatile, durable hand tool pair that replaces several single-use implements. The stainless blades and serrated rims make cutting roots and scooping soil efficient, while the soft, non-slip handles reduce hand fatigue. Ideal for planting and light excavation tasks; users should note the scoops are best for focused jobs rather than large-scale digging.

Does the job even without extras
Perfect for scraping soil from planting holes — worked exactly as I hoped on first use. Mine arrived without the gloves, but the tool itself is solid and I would buy this set again.

Perfect for precise planting
My go-to trowel for setting plants. It makes neat, accurate holes and handles bulbs well. The only drawback is soil can sometimes cake inside the scoop.

Stood up to the weather
Left outside in the rain and they didn’t rust. Sturdy enough for hard, compacted dirt. I’d love the same style in a larger size for heavier jobs.

Great for rocky ground and post hole prep
I used these to begin post holes in very rocky soil and they were a big help. The ribbed edges and pointed tip loosened rocks, and the scoops made removing dirt and stones easier. Very sturdy and sped up the work.

Handy, multi-use soil scoop
This multi-purpose scoop handles digging, weeding and transplanting with ease. The pointed tip slices into hard soil, serrated edge cuts roots, and the concave blade holds a good amount of dirt. The soft, grippy handle is comfortable and the measurement marks help with consistent planting depths. Replaces several single-use tools in my kit.

Should’ve added them to my kit sooner
These feel like an extra planting hand—easy to use and store in my garden bucket. I’ve only used them a few times so far, but they make small tasks much quicker.
