Product review
Natural cedar construction: The feeder is made from solid cedar, chosen for its resistance to the elements and a warm, garden-friendly appearance. The peaked roof helps divert rain and sun away from the seed reservoir.
Capacity and suet options: The central hopper will hold up to 2.8 pounds of mixed seed. On each side there are metal suet cages with secure latch closures that accept suet cakes, fruit, or other attractants to bring in insectivores and suet-loving species.
Ready to use out of the box: The unit ships fully assembled and includes a durable hanging rope so you can hang it from a branch, eave, or hook immediately—no tools required.
Refilling and cleaning features: A wide top opening makes adding seed quick, while transparent side panels reveal supply levels. The clear panels are removable, and the bottom mesh detaches for straightforward cleaning and seed removal.
All-weather feeding details: Drainage holes in the hopper help keep seed dry, and a built-in perch gives birds a stable spot to land. The open hopper and see-through sides allow feeding activity to be watched from multiple angles.

Squirrels leave it alone
I bought this for my mom as a gift and she set it out in spring. She loves it and the birds are constant visitors. Her persistent squirrel ignores this feeder while raiding others. The unit is sturdy and she combines seed with the suet cakes for variety.

Compact and robust
Sturdy little feeder and it looks attractive. Perches are shallow so mostly finches use it and only one per side. Seed can scatter, but local finches love it and more keep arriving.
