Product review
What’s included: a 2 fl oz jar of repair filler suitable for leather and related materials.
Materials and compatibility: formulated to work on smooth leather, vinyl, patent and vegan leathers, bonded leather, pleather, and foam-backed leather. The paste has a creamy consistency that can be manipulated with a spatula or fingertip before curing.
How it’s used: apply the filler into holes, tears, burn marks or flaking areas in thin layers, allowing each coat to dry. Once set, sand lightly to level deeper repairs, then prime and apply leather paint for a color-matched finish. The compound accepts leather paints reliably and can be polished after coloring.
Performance notes: the compound is engineered to retain flexibility so repaired areas move with the surrounding leather without hardening and cracking. It’s paintable and sands to a smooth surface, making it suitable for visible repairs on seats, couches, shoes, bags, and other leather goods.
Origin: developed and manufactured in the United States, this formulation reflects repeated refinement to deliver a stable, workable repair material.
Pros
- Flexible after curing
- Accepts leather paint well
- Works on many leather-like materials
Cons
- Requires layering and sanding for flawless results
- Color match needs separate paint
- Learning curve for perfect finish
VerdictA versatile, paintable filler that handles small to medium leather damage well. It spreads smoothly, sands to a neat finish, and stays flexible after curing, making it a reliable option for shoes, furniture, and car interiors. Expect to layer, sand, and color-match for the best visual results; pro-level finishes require practice but the product performs consistently.

Saved a large sectional’s worn areas
This was exactly what I needed to patch disintegrating bonded leather on a very large sectional. The paste spreads easily, levels out smoothly, and can be painted to extend the furniture’s usable life.

Stopped the flaking on my faux leather journal
My faux-leather journal was shedding badly; two thin coats of filler stopped the flaking. I repainted the cover and sealed it with two coats of Mod Podge. The finish isn’t perfect cosmetically, but the peeling is gone and I’m satisfied so far.

Made our couch scratches disappear
After deglazing and sanding cat scratches on our leather couch, I filled, painted, and polished the area. The result looked almost factory-new. The color was slightly off, so I ordered a closer match.

Useful but requires patience
Does the job on small cracks and scratches, but you need patience. Apply thin coats, let them dry fully, sand, and repeat. Bigger holes need multiple builds and careful prep to look right.

Good for beginners, with one caveat
As a newbie restoring sneakers, I found the texture easy to work with and it sands and flexes well. It fills hairline cracks neatly, but getting a flawless finish took practice — the final smoothing and color blending were the trickiest parts.

Very effective and easy to apply
I repaired cracks and scuffs on leather shoes with this filler and was pleased. The paste spreads smoothly and fills hairline gaps well. After drying it sands down cleanly and accepts leather paint, and the repaired areas remain flexible with normal wear.

Excellent product, professional finish
This leather filler exceeded expectations on an old favorite bag with deep wear. It spreads evenly, sands to a clean edge, and repaired a missing piping section perfectly. Only the loose jar inside the box was a minor packaging gripe.
