Product review
Crafted from USA-sourced walnut rough-sawn lumber, each frame is hand-milled so every piece shows unique grain patterns and color variation. The wood is sealed with a clear, non-toxic varnish that protects the surface while preserving its natural tones and furniture-grade appearance.
Construction uses nail-free mortise & tenon joinery, reinforced with hardwood splines at each corner for added strength and long-term stability. This method produces a solid, traditional frame profile designed to last and serve as a refined focal point in your space.
Each frame is fitted with anti-scratch tempered glass that offers greater impact resistance than standard glass or plexiglass and maintains a clear, high-definition view of the image without distortion. The glass is designed to resist minor surface marks and provide safe, reliable protection for photos or artwork.
Frames include a sturdy backing and hanging hardware so you can mount them either horizontally or vertically; hooks are supplied for wall installation. The product comes in standard picture sizes including 11x14, and is compatible with mats or custom mounts if your artwork is an unusual dimension.
Units are carefully packaged to prevent transit damage and make them gift-ready for holidays or special occasions. If you need assistance, customer support is available to address questions about sizing, finishes, or installation.
Pros
- Durable mortise & tenon construction
- Clear, anti-scratch tempered glass
- Unique walnut grain on every frame
Cons
- Wood grain and color vary by piece
- Walnut can be softer than some hardwoods
- Country of manufacture may differ from sourcing
VerdictThis walnut 11x14 frame combines traditional joinery and a durable finish with high-definition tempered glass, making it a reliable choice for displaying photos or art. Grain variation gives each frame character; it’s sturdy and versatile for wall mounting in either orientation.

Clean mid-century look
Dimensions were correct and it looks great with my daughter's art. I ordered a custom mat for the odd-sized piece but the included mat is nice too. Good value.
