Top Holiday Baking Recipes and Gift Ideas (2012 Favorites)

Be honest — how many of you have finished your holiday baking? My mom wrapped hers up last night; I won’t be done until tomorrow, and I’m sure many of you will be baking through the weekend. I always feel a little wistful when Christmas arrives because it’s the one time of year when baking cookies all week feels perfectly normal. Below are some of my favorite holiday baking recipes. In two days I’ll be on a plane to Germany to spend the holidays with family and go skiing. I’m excited to visit the Christmas markets and enjoy all the seasonal baked goods. This Christmas is extra special because it will be our first one as a married couple — Fabi and I are celebrating together. A little cheesy, I know, but it’s meaningful.
