On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing on mostly new spots, but there are a few familiar places that deserve mention because they’re still relatively new to the valley. One of those staples is Beaumont—after grabbing a breakfast burrito there today, it became clear it belongs on the list.

I appreciate Beaumont for many reasons, but convenience and freshness top the list. If you spend time in the mountains along the Wasatch Front, Beaumont is a great place to fuel up before heading out. I often pick up a burrito on the way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive-through makes it fast and accessible without sacrificing quality. While drive-through Mexican burritos can be tasty, they’re sometimes heavy and greasy—especially when you’re about to be physically active. Beaumont strikes a better balance.

The breakfast burrito at Beaumont is filled with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. What elevates it, though, is the sauce. A good breakfast burrito often comes down to the sauce, and Beaumont’s creamy tomatillo escabeche-style dressing gives it extra flavor and balance.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers more than just a great burrito. Their coffee and pastries are reliable, and the burrata salad is a standout for lunch. Because the food is consistently good, Beaumont draws a crowd—especially on weekends. If you only want coffee and pastries, don’t be put off by the line; it’s easy to grab what you need or use the drive-through. If you plan to sit and enjoy the space, though, expect a wait on busy days. The patio and thoughtfully designed interior make it worth lingering when you can.
If you’re looking for a convenient, fresh breakfast before a day in the mountains or a pleasant spot to relax, Beaumont is a solid pick. The combination of fast service, quality ingredients, and thoughtful flavors keeps me coming back.
