Product review
This Shark Cordless Pet stick vacuum arrives as a modular cleaning system built for everyday messes and pet hair. The package includes the motorized stick unit with Turbo Pro brushroll, a detachable wand, a motorized floorhead that auto-adjusts to floor types, a removable dust cup, washable filters, and the charging adapter for the removable battery. It also features onboard tools for handheld use.
Construction relies on molded polymer housings and a motorized brushroll with rubberized elements for deep agitation and reduced hair wrapping. The self-cleaning brushroll actively clears long hair and pet fur as you clean, limiting manual detangling. FloorDetect Technology monitors surface type and adjusts brushroll speed automatically so you don’t need to swap nozzles when moving between carpets and hard floors.
The stick converts to a handheld vacuum for spot cleaning on counters, upholstery, stairs, and tight corners. Filtration is HEPA-grade with a Complete Seal system that captures and retains up to 99.97% of 0.3-micron particles, helping to keep airborne allergens contained. LED headlights on the floorhead light dark corners and edges to reveal hidden dust and debris.
Battery performance provides up to 40 minutes of cordless runtime on lower settings, suitable for quick touch-ups or a single-pass whole-house tidy in many cases. The dust cup is user-removable and simple to empty, and filters are accessible for cleaning or replacement. Regular maintenance of the brushroll housing and filters will keep suction and performance consistent.
Pros
- Anti-hair-wrap brushroll reduces manual detangling
- Auto-adjusting floorhead for smooth transitions
- HEPA sealed filtration captures 99.97% of fine particles
Cons
- Automatic boost can shorten battery life on carpets
- Some brush housing areas are awkward to clean thoroughly
- Charge times can be long compared with runtime
VerdictA versatile cordless stick that handles pet hair and routine cleaning across carpets and hard floors. The self-cleaning brushroll and HEPA sealed filtration make it a strong choice for allergy-conscious households, and FloorDetect smooths transitions between surfaces. Battery life and occasional automatic boost behavior are the main trade-offs, but overall it delivers reliable, convenient cleaning

Great with pet hair, though not flawless
Outstanding at picking up pet hair, with effective filtration and a quick-detach floorhead that becomes a strong handheld. The self-cleaning brushroll reduces tangles. However, low-power mode feels weak compared with competitors, normal mode is average, and boost drains the battery rapidly.

Lightweight and serviceable, with a quirk on carpets
Performance has been solid overall. Battery life isn’t ideal but it gets my apartment done in one charge. It’s easy to disassemble for cleaning — brushroll and filters are removable — and unclogs are straightforward. My only gripe is it sometimes ramps power on regular carpet, which cuts into runtime.

Turns a chore into something easier
I wanted a lighter alternative to my bulky vacuum and this exceeded expectations. It’s simple to carry up and down stairs, attachments reach high beams and tight spaces, and the LED reveals dust under furniture. I finish the whole house on one charge and even use it in the car. Emptying the bin and storing it are very straightforward.

Comfortable grip and excellent anti-hair design
The rubberized roller really helps stop hair from wrapping, and the accessory set is useful for many tasks. Cordless mobility makes cleaning less of a hassle. Suction is good for routine work — not the most powerful available, but plenty for regular upkeep. Comfortable for small and large hands.

Five years in and still running
Owned for about five years and it’s endured despite my lax filter care. It removes fine dust from hardwood and handles long hair without tangling. Battery supports multiple sessions across a mix of full-house cleans and quick touch-ups. Durable, lightweight, and dependable so far.

Handles shag carpet and small homes well
Ideal for my one-bedroom condo. This upright manages both hard floors and shag carpet with good power and ease of use. On a full charge it ran long enough for my cleaning needs and I’d recommend it for its performance and value.

Strong suction and straightforward upkeep
Picks up a lot more than I expected. The battery lasts a long time and storage is simple — the powerhead detaches and docks on the wand. Cleaning the dust cup is easy: open, dump, and go.

Powerful, light, and very convenient
This stick is surprisingly powerful for its weight. It handles pet hair, crumbs, and fine dust well, transitioning smoothly between hard floors and carpets. Battery life is good for quick cleanups or a full pass of the house, and the canister is easy to empty and clean. Storage-friendly too.

Exactly the cordless helper we needed
We have mostly carpet and some hardwood, plus two cats that track litter. This stick replaced my little car vac for quick pickups. It’s quiet, easy to steer, holds a 40–45 minute charge, and picks up the litter, dust, and cat hair with no fuss. Highly pleased with how it handles daily messes.

Loved it, then ran into a cleaning snag
After years of daily use the battery and suction remain solid, but I downgraded my rating because the brush cover collects grime I can’t fully remove. The rolling brush itself is maintainable, but the surrounding housing is hard to clean without leaving residue — a disappointing design flaw.

Reliable and effective for a large home
At 75 I’ve used many vacuums; after trying another cordless that failed, this one impressed me. It felt a bit heavy at first but works excellently on bamboo floors and area rugs across a large house without needing a recharge. The dirt bin releases easily and the unit disassembles simply for maintenance.

Worked as expected, one charger hiccup
The vacuum arrived as ordered and performs well. The only snag was the charger plug didn’t match my local outlet standard, so I needed to pick up an adapter before I could charge it — otherwise everything else was fine.

Gentle on my back and effective
Cordless freedom is a lifesaver for my arthritis and back issues. Suction is strong, I get about 40 minutes on low and roughly 35 when using higher settings. The flexible wand helps reach under furniture without bending. It edges better than my previous vacuums and makes cleaning much easier.
