Kids love it, though some pieces feel fragile
Both of my boys still play for hours with the set. The main issue is the track — some pieces are thin and I ended up gluing a few joints for durability. The pull-out storage bins are convenient and keep spare parts contained. Sturdy and stable, with rounded corners that give me peace of mind. The storage drawers hold a lot of trains and parts, though I wish the table were a bit taller for my tall three-year-old. Still in heavy rotation after years
Bought for my son a few years ago and both he and his baby brother still use it regularly. The only annoyance is the track can come apart with rough play; I fixed that by securing some joints. Wonderful play value for families

Assembly problems and mixed materials
I was disappointed that the frame is made from particleboard rather than solid wood, and some pre-drilled holes were too tight which caused splitting when assembling. The tracks themselves are okay but a few extras feel cheaply made. If assembly goes smoothly you’ll get decent play value, but mine arrived with construction issues.
