The unit includes the main retractable housing, a total of 30 feet of cabling (a 26-foot SJTW extension plus a 4-foot lead-in), and the mounting hardware required for ceiling or wall installation. The cable is a 14/3 gauge rated for 13A/125V (1625W), so it’s sized for typical shop tools and household equipment within that current limit.
An internal automatic rewind mechanism reels the cord smoothly to prevent tangles. There’s an adjustable locking stop that lets you secure the cord at any length you need, and a visible indicator light built into the outlet module shows when power is live so connections are easy to verify in low-light areas.
The reel supports 180° rotation, allowing it to be mounted on a ceiling or a wall and still feed cord from different angles. An anti-detachment safety pin helps keep the reel assembly secured to its bracket and reduces the chance of the reel separating from the mount during use.
The outlet module provides three grounded receptacles so you can power multiple devices without extra extension cords. The housing design includes a transparent section near the outlets so you can see status indicators and wiring at a glance.
A built-in 13A circuit breaker protects against overloads and short circuits; if the load exceeds the limit the breaker trips and power is cut, and it can be manually reset once conditions return to normal. The reel is intended for indoor and protected outdoor use where the SJTW cable rating and breaker capacity are appropriate.
