Oreo cheesecake dip is rich, decadent and a huge hit at get-togethers. This recipe includes a dairy-free option.

Ingredients

This simple recipe uses just a few ingredients and can be easily adapted to be dairy-free.

  • Dairy-free cream cheese: Provides that cheesecake-like richness. Kite Hill almond milk cream cheese works well. (Swap for regular cream cheese if not dairy-free.)
  • Truwhip (vegan) or whipped topping: Keeps the dip light and fluffy and adds volume. Regular Truwhip or Cool Whip can be used if not dairy-free.
  • Oreos: Crush to add texture and chocolate flavor. Works for both dairy-free and regular versions.
  • Vanilla: A little vanilla balances and brightens the flavors.
  • Optional: powdered sugar. The dip is mildly sweet on its own; add powdered sugar by the tablespoon to reach your preferred sweetness.
This delicious dessert dip uses only 4 ingredients and can be dairy-free. A fun party treat.

About Truwhip

Truwhip is a frozen whipped topping similar to Cool Whip but made with simpler ingredients. Many varieties are free of preservatives, artificial colors and flavors, and high-fructose corn syrup. It comes in original, skinny and vegan versions and creates a light, airy texture in this dip.

Are Oreos dairy-free?

Oreos are dairy-free in their standard formulation. They work well for dairy-free adaptations of this dip.

How to crush Oreos

For a mix of textures, crush Oreos with a rolling pin to leave some larger chunks. For finer crumbs that fold into the dip more uniformly, pulse Oreos in a food processor or blender.
