Sizing and fit: Sold in multiple sizes; size L fits a snout circumference of about 9½"–14" and a neck circumference of about 15½"–21", intended for large breeds such as Rottweilers, German Shepherds and American Pit Bull Terriers (breed examples are guidance only). Measure both snout and neck before choosing a size. Not recommended for brachycephalic or very short-snouted breeds like French Bulldogs.
What’s included: The package contains one adjustable head halter with an over-nose padded band, neck strap, chin strap with an adjustable clip, and a leash attachment point. The halter arrives with reflective strips applied to the straps for added visibility.
Materials and construction: The halter is built from soft, padded fabric over the nose area for comfort, joined to durable nylon webbing for the straps. Plastic quick-release buckles and slide-adjusters are used for sizing. Reflective tape is bonded to the webbing to improve visibility in low light.
How it’s used: The design guides the dog's head rather than constricting the throat. Gentle pressure on the leash redirects direction and discourages pulling, lunging and jumping. The noseband is cushioned so it doesn't press sharply against the muzzle, and the fit allows the dog to walk, run, play, eat, drink, pant and vocalize normally while wearing the halter.
Visibility and safety: Reflective strips enhance visibility on early-morning or evening walks to reduce risk in low-light conditions. Proper adjustment is essential for comfort and control; ensure straps are snug but not tight and re-check fit regularly.
Pros
- Padded noseband for comfort
- Reflective trim for low-light visibility
- Adjustable straps for a tailored fit
Cons
- Plastic buckles can feel fragile
- Reflective tape may peel over time
- Not suitable for flat-faced breeds
VerdictThis head halter gives owners more leverage over a strong dog's head while prioritizing comfort with a padded noseband and soft webbing. It includes reflective trim for low-light visibility and multiple adjustable straps for a tailored fit. Common user concerns are plastic buckles that can feel flimsy and reflective tape that may delaminate over time, but many report the device substantially reduc

Does the job
It keeps an undisciplined dog from getting away. The dog dislikes it, but that doesn’t matter when it prevents escapes.

Medium didn’t fit my husky
I ordered a medium based on the chart but it didn’t fit my husky. I didn’t bother exchanging it and ended up tossing it.

Stops pulling, saved my shoulder
It works well for stopping pulls. My dog hates it and rolls around, but my shoulder is grateful. I also like the reflective detail. Worth trying if your dog drags you on walks.

Helpful for puppy training
I use this every day with my 40 lb pup. She responds to the gentle guidance far better than she did with a harness and has stopped pulling so much. Glad someone recommended it.

Transformative on walks
Works wonders for my pointerdor. Easy to put on and the included QR video made setup simple. He had to adapt for a few days; start with a short lead, and it quickly made walks manageable.

A lifesaver for walks
So happy — I couldn’t walk my Malinois because he pulled like a bulldozer and I had knee surgery. This halter changed that and I can take him out again without pain.

Effective but shows wear
Better than the previous halter I owned; it reduced pulling. The under-nose clasp broke within ten walks but hasn’t been a dealbreaker. Reflective tape is peeling in spots, so I gave it four stars.

Stiff plastic clasp
The little plastic clip holding the chin adjustment was almost impossible to close at first; I thought it was broken. After months of fiddling I forced it shut and it finally snapped in place. The straps themselves feel durable, but that clip seems underbuilt. It’s holding so far and I think we’ll get use from it even if my dog resists.

Failed almost immediately
Within five minutes the plastic clip broke while my dog wasn’t even pulling, and the reflective strip began to peel. Very disappointed with the durability.

Finally fits my Mastiff mix
At 105 lbs my micro-Mastiff is hard to fit—this halter was the only one that sat comfortably. It functioned well until the plastic stopper that keeps the nose loop from expanding failed after about four walks.

Great fit, durability concerns
Compared to a thinner halter I tried previously, this felt much more substantial and had nice padding and an adjustable section. Unfortunately the reflective strip began peeling and an adjustment clip detached after five days. The XL fit my Rottweiler perfectly, but longevity could be improved.
