Nutella Ice Cream Base

This is a true no-churn recipe—no ice cream maker required. You’ll need a hand mixer or stand mixer (or the patience to whisk by hand) to whip the cream to stiff peaks. Start by combining Nutella with sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks and fold it gently into the Nutella mixture in batches. For plain Nutella ice cream, freeze the mixture and enjoy.

To elevate it, stir in chopped Ferrero Rocher candies and toasted hazelnuts for texture and extra flavor. Layering with Nutella ganache adds glossy swirls that cut through the creamy base.

Nutella Ganache Swirl

The Nutella ganache is simple: heat heavy cream until it barely simmers, pour it over Nutella, and stir until smooth. To incorporate it into the ice cream, spread a portion of the ice cream mix, drizzle ganache over it, and swirl with a knife. Repeat in layers to create attractive ribbons of ganache throughout. Reserve some ganache for drizzling over scoops when serving.

Chocolate Hazelnut Waffle Cones

If you want the full Ferrero Rocher treatment, make chocolate-hazelnut waffle cones. You need melted chocolate, chopped toasted hazelnuts, Nutella, and waffle cones. Spoon melted chocolate into each cone and coat the inside, then dip the rim in chopped hazelnuts. Add a spoonful of Nutella at the bottom for a nice surprise in each cone, then chill the cones to set.
