This Strawberry Banana Smoothie Recipe is a classic, simple smoothie that works great for a quick breakfast or a satisfying snack.

My husband and I make smoothies nearly every day. We experiment with lots of combinations — some are instant favorites, others are just okay, and a few we can’t agree on. This Strawberry Banana Smoothie is one we both enjoy, though we each tweak it a bit to suit our tastes.
I’m a big fan of Greek yogurt in smoothies; it adds creaminess and tang that I love. My husband prefers his smoothies without the stronger yogurt flavor, so if you’re not a fan of Greek yogurt either, try a different base or skip it. For a fruity alternative he likes, there’s a Strawberry Grape Pineapple Smoothie that appeals to him.

One ingredient I don’t skip is red grapes. They add a subtle sweetness and a bright note that lifts the blend. If you have them on hand, add the grapes — they make a noticeable difference.

Adjust the honey to your taste. I recommend blending everything first, then adding honey a teaspoon at a time until the sweetness is right for you. That way the smoothie won’t end up too sweet or too bland — it will be just right.
Here is the Strawberry Banana Smoothie recipe. I hope you enjoy it!
