We’re still celebrating Mug Cake week!

This Nutella mug cake quickly became a favorite in our house — and I’m saying that even though I’m not a big Nutella fan. The kids adore it: spread on sandwiches, paired with peanut butter, on crackers, or used as a fruit dip. I originally bought Nutella years ago because a family member mentioned it had less sugar than jelly. If a small change lets everyone feel like they’re enjoying a treat, I’m all for it.

True chocolate lovers might prefer darker chocolate, but this mug cake surprised me — it’s rich, moist, and utterly satisfying. Topped with a dollop of fresh whipped cream, it’s hard to resist. The kids and I fought over the last spoonfuls.

This one is definitely a keeper. A quick note: don’t overfill your mugs, as the cake will rise and expand while cooking.
