Product review
What you get: a handbag-style pop-up playpen with an integrated carrying handle and an attached tunnel. It arrives ready to expand — tent section and tunnel are combined into one portable unit that collapses flat.
Materials and build: the frame uses 1×2 mm steel wire for shape and resilience. The trim is finished with 210D Oxford cloth binding for edge reinforcement. The floor is 190T polyester treated to resist moisture and dirt, and the sides are a 50g black mesh that provides ventilation and insect protection.
Sizes: when opened the main enclosure measures approximately a 15.8-inch cube. The tunnel extends to about 98.5 inches in length, offering a long run for small explorers. After playtime the whole piece folds down into a compact handbag-shaped package for stashing in a closet or car.
How to use: it pops up quickly for supervised outdoor time on grass, patios or the beach, and also serves as a secure indoor hideaway. The breathable mesh gives pets a 360-degree view while keeping them contained. Ideal occupants include guinea pigs, rabbits, hedgehogs, juvenile bearded dragons, small snakes, lizards and kittens.
Care and maintenance: the waterproof base wipes clean after use and the mesh can be brushed or gently rinsed. Zippers and panel joins require some care during assembly and folding to avoid undue stress.
Pros
- Easy to carry and pop up
- Water-resistant polyester base
- Full mesh ventilation and visibility
Cons
- Zipper parts can be fragile
- Interior is compact for larger breeds
- Somewhat fiddly to assemble panels
VerdictThis pop-up playpen is designed for quick outings and calm indoor retreats. The carry-handle design makes it easy to move and store, while the waterproof 190T base and 210D Oxford trim hold up to grass or patio use. The mesh gives pets a full view without exposing them to insects. Note that the interior is cozy rather than roomy and zipper assembly can be fiddly — still a solid, travel-friendly op

Guinea pig approved, assembly tricky
My guinea pig loves it. Zipping the panels together is fiddly and could be simpler.
