Product review
Included components and setup: The package contains the umbrella base with an adjustable pole holder, the fasteners needed for assembly, and printed assembly guidance. Setup is straightforward: fit the pole into the center sleeve, secure with the tightening screw and washer, and position the base where needed—no sand or water filling required.
Materials and construction: The outer shell is molded HDPE designed to resist UV exposure and cracking, while the interior is a poured cement core that provides the weight needed for stability. The visible surface carries a bronze-and-gold decorative pattern that aims to elevate outdoor decor without the weight of solid metal.
Dimensions and weight: The assembled base measures approximately 45" long by 8.5" wide and has a listed weight of 35 lbs, giving a substantial footprint for anchoring umbrellas. The shipping package is about 47" x 8" x 52" and weighs roughly 37 lbs.
Compatibility and use: The adjustable pole holder accepts round umbrella poles in the common 1.5" to 2" diameter range. It’s intended for use on patios, decks, lawns, poolside areas, and garden settings. The smooth exterior wipes clean with water and a cloth.
Durability and care: The HDPE shell over a cement core helps limit weather-related wear; the finish resists fading and is easy to maintain. Assembly requires only basic hand tools and the included hardware, and no additional filling materials are necessary to reach the rated weight.
Pros
- Ready-weighted—no filling required
- Adjustable clamp fits 1.5–2" poles
- Weather-resistant HDPE exterior
Cons
- Finish may show factory scuffs
- Tightening hardware can be fiddly
- Plastic inner sleeve lacks grip pads
VerdictA solidly weighted base that provides dependable anchoring for everyday use. The HDPE outer shell protects an inner cement core from weather exposure while the adjustable clamp accommodates common pole sizes. Some buyers encountered cosmetic scuffs and fitment or tightening issues with the pole fastener, but the unit's weight and footprint give it the stability many users need for standard patio u

Missing instructions, looked returned
Assembly wasn’t intuitive and there were no instructions. The package seemed like it had been returned. Parts were few but I wasn’t sure of placement because a lock washer was included.

Sturdy despite damaged box
Packaging crushed. No manual inside. Performs well — solid and heavy.

Handles windy days well
Finally stopped losing umbrellas. This has held my 10' umbrella in strong gusts. Reminder: always close the umbrella before a storm.

Solid weight but poor pole grip
Very heavy and attractive, but the tightening screw doesn’t fully close the gap. I had to wrap the pole with tape to stop leaning. Would prefer a sleeve with internal grippers.

Disappointing quality and fit
Not as heavy as advertised and mostly plastic with a faux-bronze surface. Arrived scratched and without instructions. Fasteners are too small and the bolt head is rounded, making it hard to tighten. I don’t trust it to hold an umbrella in any breeze.

Required some jury-rigging but works
Arrived quickly and intact. The decorative plastic cover is not solid metal. The pole holder was slightly warped so the round post didn’t fit the oval opening; I retrofitted it with extra parts and zip ties. After some tinkering it’s been durable in wind and rain.

Wobbly and high-maintenance
Useless. Wobbles. Requires constant retightening.

Heavy and fixable cosmetically
Plenty of weight to hold my umbrella and easy to put together. The finish arrived dull and scuffed, but a quick clean and a touch-up spray made it look much better.
